Neil Harris insisted there is no pressure on Millwall after they moved into the Championship play-off places.

Millwall won 2-0 at Bolton last night through goals from Tom Elliott and Ben Marshall to extend their unbeaten run to 16 matches and climb above Middlesbrough, who lost 2-1 at Sheffield United.

The Lions have four games to play and are targeting promotion to the Premier League for the first time but manager Harris said: “There is no pressure. At the start of the season nobody expected us to be near the play-offs, including me. And now we can just enjoy it.

“The club should be proud of where we are. Credit to my players. What I know is they will not rest on what they have done so far. They want to be in the play-offs.”

Millwall have a tough run-in starting at Sheffield United on Saturday and they also play Fulham, Middlesbrough and Aston Villa.

But Harris added: “We are in the play-offs because over 42 games we have been one of the best teams in the division, and we have to remember that. We are on a great run and the boys are in form, individually and collectively. It is a special time for us. Millwall fans are pinching themselves a bit but league tables do not lie after 42 games. Now we have four massive games.”
