Arsene Wenger has dismissed reports in Spain claiming that he is set to leave Arsenal for Barcelona at the end of the season.

Barcelona boss Gerardo Martino is coming under increasing pressure following two defeats in the Catalan giant’s last three domestic fixtures and Spanish reports suggest Wenger is being lined up as a replacement.

However, Wenger, whose current contract with the Gunners expires at the end of the season, has said he is completely focused on Arsenal.

"My commitment is here and nowhere else," said Wenger ahead of Arsenal’s north London derby against Tottenham on Sunday.

Having gone out of the Champions League to Bayern Munich on Tuesday, Arsenal can now focus on clawing their way back into the Premier League title race, but Wenger is aware Sunday’s derby at White Hart Lane won’t be easy.

He added: "Tottenham is a difficult ground to go to for everybody, we have good memories and bad memories.

"I still think it takes time when you bring in many new players but you cannot say Spurs had a bad season."
