New Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has reaffirmed his desire for face-to-face talks with Eden Hazard, Willian and Thibaut Courtois with the trio’s futures at Stamford Bridge uncertain.

Belgian duo Hazard and Courtois are targets for Real Madrid whilst their La Liga rivals Barcelona are keen to snare Willian and have made a £64.2million bid for the Brazil international.

Willian appears significantly more likely to leave than Hazard, for whom the Blues would demand at least £200m, whilst Courtois’ exit appears highly likely as he has less than 12 months remaining on his contract and has made no secret of his desire to move to Madrid to be close to his children.

However Sarri professed himself to be “confident” that all three would still be Chelsea players when the transfer window closes next month.

"I like to talk to a person face to face,” Sarri said after his side’s 1-0 friendly win over Perth Glory. “I do not like to talk to a person by telephone.

"I do not know, it depends on the club. It is clear that for me, it is a pleasure to have Courtois, to have Willian, to have Hazard.

"But it does not depend on me, so we have to wait, I am confident.”

All three players did not join Chelsea on their tour of Australia due to their World Cup exertions.
