Marco Reus admits he would be "pleased" if Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi were to seal a permanent move to Borussia Dortmund this summer because of the impact the Belgian has had at the German club.

Batshuayi, who played a mostly substitute role at Chelsea before sealing a loan move to Dortmund in January, has had a fine start to life in Germany - netting five goals in his first three matches.

Club sporting director Michael Zorc has previously admitted that Batshuayi's fine form means that he will be targeted by other clubs this summer, although Reus hopes the striker will opt to stay at Dortmund.

"I'd be very pleased if Michy were to stay," Reus told reporters following the win over Frankfurt.

"He's shown how important he can be for us."
