Juan Mata has confirmed that Anderson has left Manchester United and returned to play in his native Brazil.
Mata has decided to cut the press officers out of the loop by using his blog to reveal the Brazilian is leaving Old Trafford.
The departing 26-year-old has beeen at United since 2007 and never managed to hold down a regular first-team position after his first season at the club.

Anderson secured a loan move to Fiorentina during the second half of last season and has now made his Manchester United exit permanent, according to Mata.
The Spaniard was posting a message to supporters on his blog when he added: "Also, I want to wish good luck to my friend Anderson, who is back to football in his native Brazil. All the best, my friend!"
