Manchester United could have some difficult decisions to make in the goalkeeping department this summer, with competition hotting up over who should be no1 at Old Trafford.

Current first-choice David De Gea was made the highest-paid goalkeeper in history when he signed a new contract at the club last year, but has struggled to recapture the form that, for several years, made him the world’s leading stopper.

The Spaniard has come under fire for his performance in the 1-1 draw against Tottenham on Friday night, with club legend Roy Keane chastising him over his role in Steven Bergwijn’s opening goal.

By contrast, Dean Henderson is enjoying another stellar season on loan at Sheffield United, who he helped gain promotion to the Premier League from the Championship last season.

His form has made him a contender to battle Jordan Pickford for the England role ahead of next summer’s rescheduled European Championships, but his future at club level is uncertain.

The Blades are, unsurprisingly, keen to have the 23-year-old back at Bramall Lane again next season, while United want him in their side long-term.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he believes Henderson will one day be first-choice for both club and country, but he rates De Gea as the best in the world.

So, who do you think he should pick?
