Manchester United are closing in on £12m Kagawa

Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Shinji Kagawa, according to reports in Germany today.

United will have to pay a fee of around £12million for the Japanese international who helped his side to the German league and cup double.

Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to strengthen his midfield and has missed out on Belgian Eden Hazard, who opted to join Chelsea.
