Manchester City XI vs Everton: Confirmed team news, predicted lineup, latest injuries for Premier League

Alex Young @alexwsyoung28 December 2020

Pep Guardiola is likely to shuffle his pack as Manchester City head to high-flying Everton just two days after their last Premier League outing.

Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez sat out the Boxing Day win over Newcastle and should come back in, with Benjamin Mendy also pushing for a start.

Sergio Aguero had another run out off the bench but is unlikely to be risked from the off after so many fitness issues this season.

Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus remain out due to coronavirus, while John Stones may be the one to make way for Laporte, with Ruben Dias seemingly undroppable and Joao Cancelo needed to cover for Walker.

Phil Foden will be looking for more minutes and should start alongside Rodri and Kevin De Bruyne. Raheem Sterling and Ferran Torres should keep their place in attack.

Predicted Manchester City XI vs Everton: Ederson; Cancelo, Dias, Laporte, Mendy; Rodri, De Bruyne, Foden; Mahrez, Torres, Sterling
