Joe Hart remains on the Manchester City bench as manager Manuel Pellegrini names an unchanged side for the visit of CSKA Moscow in Champions League Group D.

The England goalkeeper has been dropped after a series of errors and, as he suggested, Pellegrini opted to retain Costel Pantilimon as well as the rest of the team that thrashed Norwich 7-0 on Saturday.

City beat the Russian side in a game marred by racist chanting in Moscow a fortnight ago and could all but clinch a place in the last 16 with a repeat victory.

Man City: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Nastasic, Clichy, Nasri, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva, Aguero, Negredo. Subs: Hart, Richards, Lescott, Milner, Dzeko, Kolarov, Jesus Navas.

CSKA Moscow: Akinfeev, Nababkin, Alexei Berezutsky, Ignashevich, Shchennikov, Milanov, Wernbloom, Musa, Honda, Tosic, Doumbia. Subs: Chepchugov, Vasin, Zuber, Elm, Rahimic, Vitinho, Bazelyuk.
