Pep Guardiola confirmed he will have a full Manchester City squad of 18 players to choose from against Leicester on Saturday and joked: "Gary Neville can be happy."

The former Manchester United defender criticised Guardiola's decision to only name six substitutes for the draw against Burnley last weekend in his role as a Sky Sports pundit.

Guardiola also said he hoped City target Riyad Mahrez would feature for Leicester at the Etihad Stadium.

The Algerian has not played or trained for the Foxes since a January deadline day move to Manchester City collapsed.

Guardiola said German winger Leroy Sane would not be back in time for City's Champions League last 16 matches against Basel.

The player suffered ankle ligament damage in a tackle from Cardiff's Joe Bennett in an FA Cup match last month and is back in training, but Guardiola said: "He is much better but I don't think he will be back for the Champions League. He's just running in training."
