Quote-machine meets musician Noel Gallagher has laid into PSG striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in a Swedish newspaper, comparing him to his brother Liam and labelling the striker “a f***ing idiot”.
The striker has earned himself an outspoken reputation in the footballing world not too different to that of the former Oasis fan with Ibra’s outbursts including comparing himself to God and labelling France a “s*** country”.
And the High Flying Birds man sees similarities between the Swedish striker and his tempestuous brother Liam. He told Afton Bladet: "This guy is a f***ing idiot. I do not like him, he is full of crap.”
"He is like my brother, he talks a lot but can’t back it up. Cool tattoos and a big mouth."
Gallagher has also built a reputation for saying the unsayable, with the songwriters legendary putdowns becoming almost as iconic as his music. In February the Manchester City fan called Jose Mourinho a “whinger” after a 1-1 draw with Burnley.
