The two favourites for the Champions League go head-to-head as Manchester City host Bayern Munich tonight.
Pep Guardiola’s side have home advantage at the Etihad for the first leg of this quarter-final tie, as they look to continue a run they hope will end with the club winning the Champions League for the first time.
City dismantled RB Leipzig in the last-16, but this is a huge step up in opposition and the type of game they have fallen short in over recent seasons. With the Premier League title race still to be decided and an FA Cup semi-final to come, City’s season hangs completely in the balance.
Thomas Tuchel is now in the Bayern dugout, looking to come in and lead them to European glory as he did with Chelsea two seasons ago when beating City in the final.
