Ajax travel to Anfield this evening as Liverpool search for their first win of the Champions League campaign.
A humbling defeat away to Napoli continued the Reds’ middling start to the campaign and left Jurgen Klopp pondering serious changes to his setup and squad.
There were no such problems for Ajax last week though as they trounced Rangers 4-0 before putting five past Heerenveen to maintain their perfect winning start to the season.
As things stand, the game is on for this Tuesday after Liverpool’s Premier League against Wolves was cancelled in the wake of Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
