Leicester's EFL Cup tie with Southampton rearranged for 27 November

Standard Sport1 November 2018

Leicester’s EFL Cup fourth round clash against Southampton has been rearranged for Tuesday 27 November, the club have announced.

The tie, originally scheduled for Tuesday this week, was postponed following Saturday’s helicopter crash outside the King Power Stadium, which resulted in the death of club owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and four other people.

The Foxes have said in a statement all tickets purchased for the original fixture will be valid for the rescheduled date.

Leicester‘s Premier League game with Cardiff City this weekend will go ahead as planned with special tributes planned for their popular owner on Saturday afternoon.
