Lee Cook and Martin Rowlands look set to leave Qeens Park Rangers after the pair were not handed squad numbers for the upcoming Premier League campaign.

There have been doubts over the duo's future this summer after they failed to make a pre-season friendly appearance, as well as the squads that toured Cornwall and Italy.

Cook and Rowlands now look set to leave Loftus Road and could be joined by Leon Clarke, Gary Borrowdale and Antonio German.

The trio were also not handed a squad number by manager Neil Warnock and look set to leave the west London club.

Summer signing Jay Bothroyd was handed the number 10 jersey this morning, while fellow newboys Danny Gabbidon and Kieron Dyer were given six and eight respectively.

Talisman Adel Taarabt retains the number seven shirt, while an article on the club's website highlighted the fact number nine shirt still remains vacant.

Speculation suggests that Blackpool striker DJ Campbell will take the number if he completes his move to the Shepherds Bush club this week.

QPR announced last week that the Tangerines had accepted a bid for the striker, reportedly of £1.25million.
