Juventus are in the race to sign unwanted Southampton striker Daniel Osvaldo.

The Turin giants are looking to strengthen their attacking line and have set their eyes on the Italy forward.

Osvaldo, who is currently serving a two-week suspension as punishment for being involved in a training-ground fight, is also a reported target of Spanish side Valencia.

"We like Osvaldo and we also know that other teams like him too," Juve general director Giuseppe Marotta told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"He is a fantastic player but before we can buy we must sell."

Juve are looking to offload Montenegrin striker Mirko Vucinic.

Vucinic came close to signing for Inter Milan last week only for the deal to be called off at the last minute.

"Vucinic will only leave if he wants to," Marotta said.

Osvaldo, 28, joined the Saints last summer from Roma.

The Italy international is under contract with the Premier League side until June 2017.
