Jose Mourinho showed no signs of letting his feud with Iker Casillas die down after Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Porto on Wednesday.

The Chelsea manager dropped club captain Casillas during his tempestuous final season at the Santiago Bernabeau, a change in situation that the goalkeeper never truly recovered from as first Diego Lopez and then Keylor Navas became Madrid’s No.1.

A win for Chelsea dumped Casillas’ new side, Porto, out of the Champions League in the group stage – sending the Portuguese giants crashing into the Europa League.

And whilst Mourinho insisted he had no problems with his former player, it seems he could not resist making a sharp comment about Casillas’ coming months.

“No problem,” the Chelsea manager told Spanish television when asked about their relationship. “I've done my job and he has done his, and he has done well.

“Now Casillas can win the only trophy he hasn't won. The Europa League.”

During his final season Mourinho had complained about a "rat" in the Real Madrid dressing room who had leaked information about the team to the media.
