It may not be the greatest goal he ever scores but it’s doubtful Rapid Vienna midfielder Philipp Schobesberger will ever forget last night’s winner against Viktoria Plzen.
In a goal that seems to typify the bumbling charm of Uefa’s second competition the pacey youngster found himself through on the Plzen goalkeeper after a rather calamitous attempt to play offside by the home team.
With the chance to score a vital goal for the Austrian side the moment seemed to get to Schobesberger, who tripped over his own feet as he tried a step over, collapsing to the floor.
But he certainly managed to style it out, as you can see below.

The goal kept Rapid Vienna at the top of Group E with four wins out of four. They are likely to be joined in the knockout stages by Villarreal, who lead Plzen by six points with two games to go.
