New kit: Is this what Arsenal will be wearing on away days next season?
James Benge14 July 2015

With Arsenal's new second strip set to be announced in the coming hours a Puma tweet seems to suggest that a recent leaked image is indeed the new shirt.

The club are set to announce the kit at a ceremony in Singapore attended by fans and star players, similar to last month's home launch at the Emirates.

The manufacturers Puma, who are entering their second season as the Gunners' kit suppliers, this morning tweeted the outline of a gold/yellow shirt that bears strong similarities to a leaked image.

Both tweet and leak showcase the same diamond design and blue v on the collar, suggesting that the image could well be accurate.

Arsenal's delayed kit launch is due to begin at 13:00 GMT and the event will be streamed live from Singapore.

The Gunners have regularly worn a yellow away shirt since the 1970s, though the gold hue of this kit most resembles their 2001/02 change outfit. This was most famously worn when Arsenal won the Premier League title at Old Trafford in May 2002.
