As local derbies go, Atletico Madrid stuffing their neighbours Real 4-0 at home on Saturday was special.

For one Atleti fan, however, it was more than special, it was a day to remember.

After winning a Facebook competition organised by the club to find the best Atletico Madrid fan in India, Dhananjay Yadav got treated like one of the stars and even got to meet his favourite player Fernando Torres.

He was flown over from India and given free tickets to go to the Madrid derby.

When he got there he was given a guided tour of the Vicente Calderon - Atletico's home - and met with club president Enrique Cerezo.

He then watched as Diego Simeone's team tore apart Carlo Ancelotti's side with goals from Tiago Mendes, Saul Niguez and Mario Mandzukic.

Yadav's dream trip was complete when he met Torres after the final whistle.

Speaking after he had soaked up the terrific derby result and met Torres, he said: "He's my idol. I might just cry. I feel amazed. I still can't explain it. It's amazing."
