Heung-min Son shines for Tottenham as Millwall face potential investigation

An injury to Harry Kane marred Tottenham's party as they marked their last FA Cup tie at their White Hart Lane home with a 6-0 thrashing of London rivals Millwall to book their place in a Wembley semi-final.

England international Kane, the Premier League's joint-top scorer, had to hobble off after falling awkwardly and suffering an ankle injury in a sixth minute challenge during their sixth round tie.

Yet his absence was not missed on the day as Heung-min Son - the target of alleged racist abuse from sections of Millwall fans - hammered a brilliant hat-trick, and Kane's replacement Christian Eriksen also scored a beauty before Dele Alli and substitute Vincent Janssen got in on the act.

It all made for an emotional occasion at Spurs' storied 118-year-old ground which they will leave at the end of the season.

Kane pain a worry for Spurs

Tottenham face a nervous wait to find out the extent of Harry Kane’s ankle injury.

Kane limped off after just 10 minutes after twisting his ankle under challenge from a Millwall defender.

The striker missed seven weeks earlier the season with an ankle problem and a bad injury would be a blow for Spurs in their title bid.

The replays did not look good but Spurs will be hoping the injury is not serious.

Son stars in central role

Heung-min Son looks ready to step up if Kane is facing a spell out injured.

Son moved up front after Kane went off and scored a hat-trick as Tottenham booked their place in the FA Cup semi-finals.

It will be impossible for Spurs to fill the void left by Kane but Mauricio Pochettino will need to find goals from elsewhere in the team and Son could be the answer while Kane is out.

Millwall face potential sanctions

The authorities will have to look into alleged racist chanting by Millwall fans towards Son Heung-min.

Millwall supporters allegedly chanted racist abuse about selling DVDs at the South Korea forward during the first half.

The police and the Football Association will surely investigate.

Janssen no longer just a penalty king

Vincent Janssen finally has his first goal for Tottenham from open play.

Janssen came off the bench late on and scored the fifth Spurs goal. All his four previous goals since his £17million move to White Hart Lane last summer have come from the penalty spot.

Tottenham may need more goals from Janssen while they wait on news about Kane - and Janssen's strike is a bonus.

Handshakes highlight Spurs' unity

Tottenham’s handshake celebrations are getting more complicated every week.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli made headlines with their choreographed celebration against Everton last weekend and this week it was Alli and Son.

Several members of the Tottenham have developed handshakes with each other and this looked the most in-depth we have seen so far.
