Has Alexandre Pato played for Chelsea yet? This website has the answer...

Alexandre Pato's wait for his Chelsea debut hit its 60th day on Tuesday and a website is brilliantly skewering the ongoing frustration of the striker.

Chelsea brought in the Brazil forward on a short-term deal from Corinthians in January but Pato, signed to add striking options as Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy struggled, has been nothing short of a disaster.

Exactly a month ago Guus Hiddink confirmed that the 26-year-old was fit and ready to appear for the first team after recovering his sharpness. Since then Chelsea have played five matches in which Pato has played the sum total of zero minutes.

That has included two games in which regular starting striker Costa has been unavailable through injury and suspension. Bertrand Traore and Remy have been picked ahead of Pato.

Now a new website (hasalexandrepatoplayedforchelsea.com) is offering the Chelsea hierarchy a never-ending reminder of their bizarre decision to bring in Pato and then not play him.

At the time of writing the former AC Milan striker has been a Chelsea player for 60 days, two hours and 29 minutes without ever kicking a football in a competitive context.

How much longer will that wait last? With Chelsea set to take on Premier League bottom side Aston Villa at the weekend surely they could find a moment or two for their January signing to appear on the pitch?
