Tottenham's Harry Kane, Chelsea's Marcos Alonso and West Ham's Marko Arnautovic are among eight nominees for Premier League player of the month for December.
The Spurs striker broke the Premier League record for goals in a calendar year thanks to his remarkable return of eight goals, including back-to-back hat-tricks, during the final month of 2017.
Alonso continued his fine scoring run with two goals in December, the winner against Southampton and the second in a 2-0 win over Brighton. His strike against Arsenal on January 3 took his tally to six for the season.
Arnautovic scored five times for the Hammers in December, his first goals of the club since his arrival, as the club-record signing begins to thrive under David Moyes.
His winner against Chelsea was the most vital, but his goal and subsequent celebration in a 3-0 win at Stoke City ruffled the feathers of his former club.
The other nominees are Liverpool pair Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah, Manchester United's Jesse Lingard, Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez and Manchester City's Nicolas Otamendi.
Fans can vote for their nominee on the EA Sports voting page before midnight on January 8. The winner will be announced on January 12.
