Crystal Palace have agreed a one-year deal with winger Elliot Grandin, who worked with manager Ian Holloway at Blackpool.

Grandin, 25, played 45 minutes of Palace’s 2-1 pre-season victory at Dagenham and Redbridge during a trial period and impressed Holloway enough to earn a permanent deal.

The former France Under-21 international, who was available on a free transfer after leaving Bloomfield Road earlier in the summer, spent last season on loan at Lyon. Grandin made 23 Premier League appearances for Blackpool after being signed by Holloway in 2010 following a spell in Bulgaria.
