Everton's Tim Howard surprised everyone when he scored from inside his area when the ball bounced 30 yards from Bolton's goal and flew over Adam Bogdan during the 2-1 win for Bolton at Goodison Park.

Paul Robinson

Robinson scored from his own half to stun goalkeeper Ben Foster in Spurs' Premier League win over Watford in March 2007.

Charlie Williams

The Manchester City goalkeeper made history when he became the first number one to score with a drop-kick on April 14, 1900. Sunderland's Teddy Doig was the unfortunate goalkeeper beaten at the other end.

Pat Jennings

The Northern Ireland legend also scored in the 1967 Charity Shield. Playing for Tottenham, Jennings unleashed a giant kick out of his hands which bounced over United's Alex Stepney and into the net.

Peter Shilton

England's most capped player netted for Leicester with a long-distance effort against Southampton in a 5-1 win in October 1967.
