Giorgio Chiellini has talked up Tottenham as Juventus prepare for the return of the Champions League.

The Serie A giants welcome Spurs to Turin next week for the first leg of their last-16 stage.

Spurs topped a Champions League group consisting of holders Real Madrid, former finalists Borussia Dortmund and Cypriot outfit APOEL, dubbed the Group of Death, and Chiellini is wary of the threat they hold.

"Strong team," he told Daily Mail. "I like the Belgian couple at the back, (Jan) Vertonghen and (Toby) Alderweireld."

Kane already has six goals in six Champions League games this season and Chiellini is aware of the threat Tottenham's talisman.

"Harry Kane is a fantastic player. He played against us three years ago (Italy vs England in Turin) and he has really improved.

"Now he scores more than (Lionel) Messi in a calendar year...and that's very different to scoring more than Chiellini!"
