France vs Poland: World Cup 2022 prediction, kick off time, TV, live stream, team news, h2h results, odds today

Champions France have broken the long-standing World Cup champions curse and will feel confident about progressing into the quarter-finals when they meet Poland this afternoon.

For the first time since 2006, the reigning world champions have not been knocked out during the group stages, a feat made even more impressive when you consider the injury problems Didier Deschamps has had to deal with.

Poland, meanwhile, rather limped into the round-of-16, getting through via goals scored ahead of Mexico.

While they do boast quality – namely through Robert Lewandowski – they will need a huge improvement based on their performance against Argentina.

Here’s all you need to know about the clash...

France vs Poland prediction

Given Poland’s performance against Argentina, it seems safe to predict France will have too much for them. With Mbappe rested and now going for the Golden Boot, the French attack looks a fearsome prospect.
