Barcelona are 'favourites' to sign wantaway Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the latest odds.

The striker's future at the Emirates Stadium remains very much up in the air as he approaches the final year of his contract.

Arsenal are facing up to the familiar prospect of selling their captain and star forward this summer, or risk losing him for free in 12 months' time.

Robin van Persie left for Manchester United in 2012 under similar circumstances.

Standard Sport understands both Barcelona and Real Madrid have shown an interest in the 30-year-old, who has scored 61 goals in 97 games for the Gunners.

Liga giants Barca are priced a 2-1 favourites to lure the former Borussia Dortmund man to Camp Nou, following United at 9-2.

Real Madrid are 5-1, Inter Milan at 6-1 and Paris Saint-Germain at 7-1.

Outside bets of Chelsea and Manchester City are rated at 10-1 and 16-1, respectively. Bayern Munich and Juventus are considered long shots at 20-1 and 25-1.

"Speculation over Aubameyang's future continues to pick up pace and we think Barcelona will be at the very front of the queue for his services this summer," said Coral's John Hill.
