Slaven Bilic has expressed his disappointment that no West Ham players have been picked in Roy Hodgson’s England squad for Euro 2016.

Striker Andy Carroll, midfielder Mark Noble and defender Aaron Cresswell have impressed this season but did not do enough to make their way into Hodgson’s initial 26-man party.

“I have been an international coach and I know how difficult it is to pick a squad,” said Bilic, who led Croatia to the quarter finals of Euro 2008.

“Mark Noble, Aaron Cresswell and Andy Carroll deserved to be considered from my point of view, though.

“I am disappointed for all of them that they didn’t make England’s squad for the Euros.”
