Eden Hazard continues to move closer to his best form after bagging a brace in Belgium's 4-0 World Cup qualifying win against Cyprus on Tuesday.

The Chelsea winger, who only made his first Premier League start of the season against Manchester City before the international break, opened the scoring in Brussels in the 12th minute before converting a 63rd-minute penalty against Cyprus.

The goals came either side of Thorgan Hazard - the younger brother of Eden - scoring before Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku came off the bench in the second half to round off the win with a goal 12 minutes from time.

While Roberto Martinez's side ended off the qualifying campaign with a win to top Group H, the match at the King Baudouin Stadium also saw Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen become Belgium's most capped player.

The centre-back was handed the captaincy for the match on Tuesday, in which he made his 97th appearance for the Red Devils - one more than Jan Ceulemans, who had held the previous record of 96 caps for Belgium since 1991.
