Didier Drogba’s Shanghai debut delayed

Didier Drogba's debut for new club Shanghai Shenhua has been delayed.

The former Chelsea striker, 34, was due to play against Beijing Guoan on Saturday but is not expected to arrive in China until later this week.

Drogba, who scored the equaliser for Chelsea against Bayern Munich in the Champions League Final, should arrive in time to face Guangzhou Fuli on July 22.
