Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge could be on his way to Liverpool in the January transfer window, according to reports.

Liverpool have been long-time admirers of the England international (above) and have opened negotiations with Chelsea over a move, says the Daily Mirror.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to increase his attacking options after loaning out Andy Carroll to West Ham and losing £10million striker Fabio Borini to a foot injury.
