How will Crystal Palace line up against Sheffield United? Wilfried Zaha set to start

1/21

Crystal Palace will be hoping to get their season up and running with a first win as they visit promoted Sheffield United on Sunday.

The Eagles began their Premier League campaign with a 0-0 draw against Everton at Selhurst Park but have often put in their better performances away from home under Roy Hodgson.

The former England manager will likely hand Wilfried Zaha a first start of the season after he trained well all week having been named on the bench against Everton, the side he looked to force a move to with a transfer request three days before the start of the season.

Summer signings Gary Cahill, Victor Camarasa and James McCarthy all stepped up their preparations with minutes for the U23s against Birmingham on Monday, while Hodgson will still be without defender James Tomkins. The game against Chris Wilder's side will likely come too early for Mamadou Sakho, too, as he continues his recovery from knee surgery.

Predicted XI [4-3-3]: Guaita; Ward, Kelly, Cahill, Van Aanholt; Milivojevic, McArthur, Meyer; Townsend, Ayew, Zaha
