Crystal Palace will be hoping to round off the Premier League weekend with victory over an Everton side bouyed by Monday’s win over Arsenal.

While Patrick Vieira is rather rightly praised for introducing a quick-fire rebuild at Selhurst Park, even the most ardent Palace supporter would surely concede that his team need to start picking up more wins.

No one in the Premier League has drawn more times than Palace (7), albeit there are a raft of teams currently on that number.

Clearly, it’s not all doom and gloom but not winning games - particularly at this time of year - would be hugely concerning.

Things can change in an instant, even if there is more than enough credit in the bank after a productive start to the season

Rafa Benitez, meanwhile, doesn’t appear to have much in the way of support at Everton given their difficult start but their recent win over Arsenal may have lifted the mood somewhat.

Date, kick-off time and venue

The Premier League game is scheduled for a 4.30pm GMT kick-off today, December 12, 2021.

The game will be played at Selhurst Park in London.

Crystal Palace vs Everton team news

Joachim Andersen recently returned to training in a boost for Vieira, though the game might come too soon for a full return.

Elsewhere, Palace have little in the way of fresh injury concerns.

Everton, meanwhile, Lucas Digne could come back into the squad at least after a falling out with Benitez.

Crystal Palace vs Everton prediction

Given just how many games Palace tend to draw and Benitez’s rather defensive approach in general, it’s difficult to look past anything other than a stalemate.

0-0 draw.
