Pedro says it is his dream to win the Premier League title with Chelsea this season, but concedes lifting the trophy will be no mean feat.

The Spaniard has played an integral part in Chelsea's surge to the top of the top-flight table this term, scoring seven goals and creating seven others for the Blues.

Despite his fine form along with the rest of his teammates, Pedro endured a rocky start to life in England after arriving from Barcelona in the summer of 2015 to see the Blues struggle under former manager Jose Mourinho.

But with Antonio Conte at the helm, Pedro says Chelsea are flourishing despite the competitive nature of the Premier League.

"The last year was very difficult for us and the team," Pedro told BBC Sport.

"It was a difficult situation for the team, the players and the club.

"With Antonio it's difficult because it's a big challenge for him to come here and prepare the team, make us strong and compact and go game-by-game.

"Now it's a very good moment for the team."

When then asked whether he believes Chelsea will add a Premier League and FA Cup trophy to their cabinet this season, Pedro replied: "Yeah, it's a dream for me.

"It's very difficult to win this title. The Premier League, for me, is the best league in the world. It has the best competitiveness.

"It's a dream for my career [to win the title]."
