Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has warned Tottenham that Antonio Conte's side have learnt from January's defeat at White Hart Lane.

The Blues travelled to north London two months ago aiming to secure a record 14th consecutive Premier League victory but came up short against Mauricio Pochettino's men.

But the two teams are set to meet for the third time this season in next month's FA Cup semi-finals and Kante is convinced Chelsea have already learnt valuable lesson from their previous encounter with Spurs.

“I think when we lost, we have to think about why we lost. That’s what we do," he told the Independent.

"Tottenham was our last defeat, we have to keep going, we react very well after Tottenham and we have to keep going. We have learned from our defeat."

The London clubs will face eachother as equals at Wembley but it is Chelsea who are out in front in the Premier League title race.

Conte's men boast a 10-point lead at the top of the table and Kante is targeting a flawless end to the season as Chelsea attempt to complete the Double.

“We are going to fight for every competition, in the league and the cup. The next game in the league, we have to prepare very well [for] this game.

"The cup is a target, we are going to play to win every game, we are going to play to win against Tottenham,” Kante added.

Meanwhile, Harry Kane is facing a battle to be fit in time to face Chelsea, having sustained ankle ligament damage at the weekend.

The 23-year-old's problem is not as severe as the injury which kept him out for 10 games earlier this season but it is not yet clear if he will play a part in Tottenham's run-in.
