Chelsea winger Eden Hazard and Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele are among the February Premier League Player of the Month nominees.

While Chelsea did not enjoy a positive February - losing twice in the league - Hazard shone as the Belgian netted three goals and created another for the faltering champions.

Dembele, meanwhile, had a good past month as he helped Tottenham onto two Premier League wins and a draw - which helped the club move into the top four at the expense of Chelsea - with a pass success rate of 92 per cent.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has also been nominated for the Player of the Month award after scoring four goals for the leaders as has Liverpool star Mohamed Salah - who netted four times and got two assists last month.

Brighton pair Pascal Gross, who scored one goal and created two others, and Glenn Murray are up for the gong too as is Xherdan Shaqiri, who scored three league goals in February.

The winner of the award will be announced on Friday 9 March.
