Chelsea secured their third successive FA Youth Cup tonight courtesy of a 4-2 aggregate victory over Manchester City.

The Blues claimed a 1-1 draw away from home in the first leg and followed it up with a convincing 3-1 win at Stamford Bridge.

There was little to choose from between the two sides in the opening 45 minutes but Dujon Sterling capitlised on a goalkeeping error to put the hosts in front on the cusp of half time.

Lukas Nmecha thought he had drawn City level in the 52nd minute only to see his effort chalked off for offside.

City were aggrieved with the decision but television replays confirmed it was the correct call.

Tammy Abraham extended Chelsea's lead courtesy of a looping header just moments later as Chelsea punished their opponents and close in on victory.

Fikayo Tomori put the game to bed with a powerful header of his own before City netted a late consolation, which counted for little, as the Blues lifted the silverware for a third year in a row.
