Chelsea vs West Ham: Hammers could have big say in crowded race for Premier League top-four finish

West Ham take on London rivals Chelsea on Monday night knowing that in the next few weeks they could play a key role in deciding which team finishes in the Premier League top four.

Manuel Pellegrini's side will face the Blues at Stamford Bridge, Manchester United at Old Trafford and, later in April, Tottenham at their new £1billion stadium - three clubs all vying to secure a Champions League place for next season.

West Ham drew 0-0 with Chelsea, beat United 3-1 and lost narrowly to Tottenham 1-0 at home this season.

And, with the east Londoners locked in their own battle to secure a seventh-place finish in the Premier League, West Ham know they could also play a part in deciding which team ends up in the top four should they manage to take points off those three teams in the coming weeks.

Watch the video above to see Standard Sport's Vaishali Bhardwaj and Jack Rosser analyse how the Hammers have the chance to impact the top-four race this season.
