Chelsea were pipped to the post as Manchester City lifted the FA Youth Cup with a 3-2 victory on Monday night.

Marcel Lewis opened the scoring for Chelsea’s Under-18s after 29 minutes, but Man City were soon level through James McAtee as they went into the interval all square.

City then took the lead through Morgan Rogers after early pressure in the second half, though Lewis was again integral for Chelsea as his cross-shot was deflected in by a City defender.

But with penalties looming, Cole Palmer won the game - and the cup - for City with an excellent late goal to deny Chelsea.
