Chelsea v Tottenham team news: Fernando Torres injured in the warm-up

Samuel Eto'o came in for Fernando Torres, who was injured in the pre-match warm-up, as Chelsea sought to increase their Premier League lead to seven points at home to Tottenham.

Frank Lampard's selection in place of Oscar was the only other change from last week's 3-1 win at Fulham, with Eden Hazard shaking off an ankle knock to start behind striker Fernando Torres and alongside Andre Schurrle, who scored a hat-trick at Craven Cottage.

Spurs, seeking a first win at Stamford Bridge in 24 years, made five changes with Younes Kaboul, Nabil Bentaleb, Sandro, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Kyle Walker - fit despite missing England duty with a groin injury - replacing Zeki Fryers, Mousa Dembele, Paulinho, Roberto Soldado and Andros Townsend.

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Lampard, Matic, Ramires, Hazard, Schurrle, Eto'o. Subs: Oscar, Mikel, Ba, Willian, Schwarzer, Salah, Kalas.

Tottenham: Lloris, Naughton, Dawson, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Sandro, Bentaleb, Walker, Sigurdsson, Lennon, Adebayor. Subs: Paulinho, Soldado, Townsend, Chadli, Friedel, Fryers, Kane.
