Steven Gerrard will travel to the capital with Liverpool for the final time this weekend as the Reds prepare to face title-winners Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Victory over the Blues could haul the Reds within one point of a Champions League spot, depending on Manchester United's result at Selhurst Park on Saturday night.

But London has not proved a happy hunting ground for the former England captain, who has never scored at Chelsea.

Indeed, Gerrard has been on the winning side at Stamford Bridge just twice in 17 attempts, while 15 trips to the Emirates - where he has scored twice - and Highbury have brought just one win and eight defeats.

His record at White Hart Lane (P12 W4) is slightly improved, while he's netted six at Upton Park. But where in the capital has Gerrard never won?

Selhurst Park, of course. The 34-year-old was absent for the Reds' FA Cup win in south London earlier this year, but featured as Palace won 3-1 in the Premier League in November.

Last season, the Eagles came from three goals down to end Liverpool's title hopes and Gerrard was left to console a tearful Luis Suarez on the field. In fact in six trips to Crystal Palace, Gerrard has lost four times, drawing two.
