Chelsea transfer target Antoine Griezmann has reiterated his desire to stay at Atletico Madrid after revealing he has opened talks with the club over a new deal - and insists that not even a call from Zinedine Zidane could persuade him to swap Los Rojiblancos for Real Madrid.
Griezmann has enjoyed a superb campaign at the Vicente Calderon this term, scoring 22 La Liga goals to help Atletico challenge for the title while his goal against Bayern Munich recently clinched the Spanish side's place in the Champions League final against fierce rivals Real.
Such has been Griezmann's form that Chelsea have been linked with a move for the France international this summer, although the 25-year-old has reiterated on several occasions he is happy to stay at Atletico until the expiration of his current contract in 2020.
And the forward has once again revealed his desire to prolong his time at the club, saying he has begun negotiations over a new deal and admitting that not even Zidane could tempt him to leave Atletico for Los Blancos.
"If Zidane calls me [and asks me to join Real] I will say that I'm at Atletico," he told Canal Plus.
"Zidane is a great person, but I'm here.
"I'm even talking to renew my contract. I hope [the talks] will succeed."
