Moussa Dembele was today travelling to London to see a specialist about a knee problem.

The 20-year-old is on Antonio Conte's Chelsea wishlist, but it is understood Dembele's deadline day movements are not related to an eleventh hour transfer.

The Blues have been monitoring Dembele for much of the window and have money to spend following the sales of Oscar and Patrick Bamford this month.

But Celtic have no obligation to sell in the current window and have slapped a £40million price-tag on the man they signed from Fulham for just £500,000 last summer.

Chelsea will now likely have to wait until the summer to sign Dembele, who has 20 goals in 38 appearances since moving to Scotland.

The Blues want to buy another forward today due to concerns over the form of Michy Batshuayi and the lack of cover for first choice Diego Costa.

Conte is interested in Torino striker Andrea Belotti.
