Chelsea will have three representatives in the England Under-21s team for their opener on Friday as Tammy Abraham, Nathaniel Chalobah and Lewis Baker all start against Sweden.

England U21s coach Aidy Boothroyd has chosen a strong line-up for the nation's Group A European Championships opener at the Kielce City Stadion - with Abraham leading the line alongside Nathan Redmond.

The forward, 19, scored 26 goals on loan at Bristol City last term, and will be hoping to take his fine goalscoring form into this summer's tournament in Poland.

He will be joined in England U21s starting team to face Sweden U21s by his Chelsea teammate Chalobah, who starts in midfield after spending last season as part of Antonio Conte's first-team squad at Stamford Bridge.

There is also a start for 22-year-old Lewis Baker, who spent last term on loan at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem where he helped the club win their first major trophy.

England Under-21s starting XI to play Sweden: Pickford, Holgate, Chambers, Mawson, Chilwell, Ward-Prowse, Baker, Chalobah, Murphy, Redmond, Abraham.
