Carlo Ancelotti is still testing positive for Covid and did not travel with the Real Madrid squad to London on Tuesday ahead of their Champions League showdown against Chelsea.
The 62-year-old tested positive last week and was replaced in the dugout by his son and assistant, Davide, on Saturday as Real warmed up for their trip to Stamford Bridge with a 2-1 win over Celta Vigo.
Los Blancos posted a video on social media as their stars travelled to England, suited and booted but missing their coach.
The first leg kicks off at 8pm on Wednesday and there is still time for Ancelotti to make the game. Six days after his initial positive test, he is reportedly not suffering from any significant symptoms.
The Italian will need to return a negative PCR test early tomorrow to have time to board a flight and manage his side at Stamford Bridge.
Real were also without the injured trio of Eden Hazard, Isco and Luka Jovic as they headed to London.
Ex-Chelsea winger Hazard underwent surgery on an ankle injury last month and will remain absent for the second leg of the quarter-final tie, in Madrid next week.
