Chelsea are ready to splash out £30 million for Everton's in-form midfielder Marouane Fellaini in January, according to reports.

The big-haired Belgian has powered Everton to fourth in the Premier League this season with a series of eye-catching displays and six goals.

Roman Abramovich is believed to be keen on signing Fellaini to bolster the Blues midfield, according to the Sunday People.

The 24-year-old - signed by Everton in 2008 from Standard Liège for £15 million - would be eligible to play for Chelsea in the Champions League this season..

Fellaini - who measures 6ft 4ins - is a versatile player who can play in defensive midfield, off a frontman, or even up front on his own.

Chelsea have already signed Eden Hazard, Oscar, Victor Moses, Marko Marin and César Azpilicueta for a combined £79.5million this season.
