Romelu Lukaku wants to remain in the Premier League this summer but has refused to comment on speculation linking him with both Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Everton striker turned down a new deal at Goodison Park in March and has set his sights on playing Champions League football next term.

Chelsea have made re-signing Lukaku their top priority this summer after cooling their interest in Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata, but Everton are demanding up to £100million for their star player.

Jose Mourinho is also targeting the Belgium international as he bids to strengthen his forward line with both Wayne Rooney and Zlatan Ibrahimovic set to depart Manchester United.

Standard Sport understands Lukaku likes the idea of living in London and has a great relationship with coach Antonio Conte.

However, Lukaku, who has decided where he wants to move this summer, refused to publicly declare his intentions.

When pressed on his next club, the 24-year-old said: "Chelsea or Man United? No comment. I can't say anything. I know where I want to go, but I keep all the talking to my agent."

"At the moment the Premier League is the best league for me. After six years I know the league through and through. I want to reach the 100-goal mark."

It comes after Lukaku told reporters on Monday he "doesn't want to stay at the same level".
