Chelsea are interested in Torino striker Andrea Belotti

The Blues have failed to agree a loan transfer with Swansea for Fernando Llorente and could instead turned their attentions to Belotti.

It has been reported in Italy that Chelsea are negotiating with Torino over the 23-year-old, but Standard Sport understands no discussions have taken place at this stage.

Indeed, sporting director Michael Emenalo is expected at Anfield this evening for Chelsea's Premier League clash with Liverpool.

Belotti, who has a release clause of £86.1million, is rated as one of the best young strikers in Europe and has also found the net three times in five games for Italy.

In the summer, Chelsea’s interest will be in Alvaro Morata of Real Madrid and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, which may concern Moussa Dembele over his chances of first-team football.

The Blues hope to sign the £40million-rated Celtic striker, but have put those plans on hold until the summer.
