Antonio Conte insists Eden Hazard won't be leaving Chelsea for Barcelona.

The Chelsea boss has dismissed Barca's chances of signing Hazard before the transfer window shuts at the end of August.

It has been reported in Spain that Barcelona will move for the Belgium international if they fail to buy Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool.

But Conte said on Friday: "I don't know anything about this situation. In the past I read a lot of stories about (Hazard going to) Real Madrid and now there is Barcelona. This is the transfer market and we must understand this.

"Will Hazard stay with us? Yes. He is very happy to stay with us and to play for Chelsea."

Meanwhile, Chelsea have made an enquiry for Bayern Munich's Renato Sanches, who is available on loan next season.

Conte spoke to Carlo Ancelotti about the possibility of signing Sanches after Chelsea's 3-2 defeat to Bayern in Singapore earlier this week.

The Blues are also believed to be considering making bids for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley and Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
